Man it's been a bit since I last updated. Things always get busy here around this time of the year. Almost like a mini-christmas. Four of the step kids all have birthdays within three weeks of each other. It's non stop parties it seems. We get with one cake and move on to the next.

The wife has also been working to start her own business. She has been a photographer for a cheesy chain store for several months now and also did a year long stint in the same profession a few years back. We used our income tax money to purchase what she would need to go out on her own and have been working hard to get things going.

I myself have had several interviews now that we decided I would wait to go back to school. I had planned to go back this semester but things happened to delay that. Two interviews down with no job thus far. I have another one on Wed the 22nd for a job working with Handicapped children like I did while living in Indiana. Actually hopeful on this one. Last interview was with Geico. Apparently I wasn't corporate enough for their liking. Oh well. I'm not really a cubicle kind of person any way.

Also started a bowling league a few weeks back. The wife, oldest step son and myself bowl monday nights. I've been rolling about a 170 average which isn't to bad. Would like it up another 10 pins or so. The wife got a new ball, decided to go finger tip grip (you bowlers out there know what that is) and she's been throwing a decent hook now instead of a straight shot. The step-son has been improving, average below 100 but he's really new to bowling. He's been getting better every week, and has learned how to pick up several spares which is a big thing.
